Another AT&T subscriber, Sherry, was able to cancel her subscription without paying excessive fees that normally accompany cancellation.

Sherry read the letter I wrote (CONSUMER LETTERS: Your Cell Phone Cancellation Fee is Disloyal and Wrong) to Ralph de la Vega, the president and CEO of AT&T Mobility, on PoveraNews.com, and contacted me to get more details.

I shared with her the information I used that led to my escaping cancellation fees, and a couple of weeks later I received this message from her:

“Aaron, Once again, thank you for your assistance and providing the information.  Just FYI – I was able to terminate my AT&T contract without penalty.”
